Nuestra Señora de Candelaria Church
By the year 1530, a little shrine or chapel was built, where the image of Our Lady of Candelaria was venerated, in the same site where the current Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria Church is located. Inside a unique urban settlement of the municipality, it shows a consolidated rural entity. Inside, the major altarpiece is a unique artistic settlement within the Canary Baroque style, a work from Master Antonio de Orbarán standing out because of its aesthetic and artistic dimensions and qualities. Likewise, there is a 16th century Flemish sculpture made in polychrome wood of Our Lady of Candelaria, patron of the municipality. In its external part, the bell gable stands out, built by the stone master Domingo Álvarez, one of the municipality's most significant symbols.
